As an educational project, connecting young knowledge, British Academy is designed by Oikios in a modern, simple and youthful style.
The highlight for the entire architecture of the building is simplicity, reflected in the focus on using light colors and simple furniture. The elegant white color is the main color for the entire space, showing modernity and helping to expand the view for the observer. The design is simple but does not create a feeling of boredom as the furniture stands out with bright colors and suitable materials, bringing a lively touch to the whole design.
The art of using shapes is skillfully applied to the design of the UK Academy. The cubic details are reflected in items such as: the straight and angular lines of the doors, the square windows, as well as the square textured rugs that evoke a sense of security and trust.
Glass is also widely used in this architecture. Transparent glass material replaces the traditional thick brick wall, used to make internal partitions, both expanding the space and helping to create the connection between the rooms.
In addition, the large glass wall on the façade closes the gap between the inside and outside space, helping to create a connection with the outside environment while making the most of natural light for the space.
