YOLA HOANG TRONG MAU
Scope of practice: Design and Build
Customer: YOLA
Location: Ho Chi Minh
Completion time: 2019
With a total construction area of 1000m2, YOLA Hoang Trong Mau is divided into two separate but attached subdivisions: the main hall with a simple and elegant design style; young, colorful classroom.
The main lobby is related to the spacious lounge area, decorated with white as the dominant tone, evoking a feeling of relaxation and comfort. To make the space different, the architects of OIKIOS chose to use the blue color for the interior design and the scattered squares on the ceiling. Large glass windows and doors are widely used to provide natural light as well as connect the interior and exterior spaces.
In contrast to the main hall design, the classroom space is highlighted with colorful wooden furniture and decorations. Colorful furniture is selected to make the space more lively and eye-catching, suitable for the age of children. Low wooden partitions act as a divider between the classroom and the hallway, creating an open and connected environment.
With the same purpose, glass is used as a partition between the corridor and the classroom. This material both ensures privacy and helps to create a close connection between departments.
